A lovely hotel in a perfect location. Rooms are smallish (as you would expect in a 17th century townhouse), but very carefully planned, using every inch of space. For example - big shelf and mirror in bathroom . Don't get those often in hotels with more stars! Very helpful staff who made every effort to make our stay comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Restaurants on the Isle Saint Louis are excellent. Good range from inexpensive to quite posh, and all with good food and service. You don't need to eat anywhere else

Excelente hotel y servicio, disfrutamos la zona, quisimos regresar para nuestra segunda parada en París al fin del mes, pero no fue posible encontrar alcoba disponible.

The hotel location cannot be topped. The street is quaint and within walking distance to everything. I much prefer this area to the Champs Elysees area. The staff was very friendly and the scent of croissants baking the morning was heaven.

Prepare to stop often when walking around. The stores and restaurants are beautiful and you can't help but go in.

For us this was a return to a Hotel that we had enjoyed several times in the 1970's and 1980"s. We love being on the I'isle St. Louis.

Lovely location on the Ile Saint Louis, great for walking around Paris. Quiet location at night. Lots of interesting shops, cafes, restaurants within a couple of minutes' walk.

Tips about Paris
Avoid changing metro lines at Chatelet, you can walk for miles. If you study the map there is usually another option.

The staff was wonderful. I was caught in the Icelandic volcano airflight problem and had to extend my stay by a week. The staff worked hard to insure that I was able to stay at Hotel Lutece and even juggled things so that I didn't have to change rooms. They made what could have been a difficult situation into a fabulous extended vacation.

Choisissez une chambre qui ne donne pas sur la rue-sinon les éboueurs vont vous réveiller de très bonne heure!
Le petit déjeuner est raisonnable mais est apporte a votre table -il ne s'agit pas de buffet comme décrit par l'hotel. Sauf ca l'hotel est excellent.

Une ville merveilleuse qui bien méritait notre 4eme visite. L'Isle St Louis sert bien comme base de la visite.

This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel and it didn't disappoint! The location is excellent and although the rooms are smallish, the excellent service and the breakfast more than make up for this. If you are in Paris you don't need to be spending time in your room, the hotel is perfect I will return as soon as I can.

The Batabus (hop-on, hop-off, water taxi) across the Seine from Notre Dame is a wonderful way to see the sights for a very reasonable price.

We liked the hotel. Fantastic location. Room looking over street was great. The woman who served breakfast was lovely and charming -she was the warmest welcome to the hotel. Only disappointment was that we asked someone on the desk if the breakfast was included, as it didn't say so on our confirmation. He told us it was, so we were disappointed to find a bill for about 40 Euros on our bill. We told the Proprietor but he didn't offer to remove it, which also disappointing.

Room was small, but aren't all hotel rooms in Paris a bit small. We would definitely go back there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Isle St. Louis! The hotel was SO quiet! The location is perfect -- and the room was perfect for us. Small and cozy and romantic! The staff is helpful always kind. We definitely plan on coming back to Paris and when we do, we will come back to the Hotel St. Louis. Many thanks for all! A la prochain fois! xox

We loved the hotel, it was warm, inviting and comfortable. The room was smaller but very nice. Large, modern bathroom with a good shower. The women that works the morning breakfast was an absolute delight and started our day with a great breakfast and smile. We would definitely stay there again.

We took the boat-o-bus which took us around the city and we would walk from the drop off points. Worked very well!
