Comments about the hotel
The hotel was perfected for what I needed, a comfortable clean place to shower and sleep. Great breakfast, the staff was friendly and wonderfully located near tons of shops and restaurants. The single rooms are small but very nice. Would definitely stay here again.
Tips about Paris
Paris is wonderful, tons to do, see, etc... Versailles is amazing and definitely worth spending a day at. Watch out for scam artists along the seine

Comments about the hotel
I just love staying at the Hotel du Levant. It is the perfect location for enjoying all Paris and the Left Bank have to offer. Easy walk to all the main sights and the restaurants outside your front door are great. The train is also almost at the front door as is Notre Dame. Only caution is I wouldn't recommend to people who want peace and quiet. It is a buzzing part of town.
Tips about Paris
Just walk and walk and walk - there is a delight around every corner. And don't miss out on Moulin Rouge, The Palace of Versailles or Monet's Garden at Giverney.

Accueil souriant et attentionné.
Situation privilégiée au coeur du quartier Saint Michel mais chambre très calme malgré tout.
A 10 minutes de la gare du Nord par le RER
Extra, je reviendrais là-bas, c'est sûr !

Comments about the hotel
I occasionally bring painting holiday artists to Paris from Le Vieux Couvent. The hotel's central location and proximity to tourist features, metro and bus lines is excellent. The breakfast buffet is substantial. Staff have even opened the kitchen early so my clients with a 7AM airporter connection can still begin the day with a croissant and coffee. That is service.
Since the hotel is on the main tourist thoroughfare, it can be noisy at night.
Tips about Paris
Going to Musee d'Orsay from Pl St Michel? Hop on a 27 bus at the bridge, then get off when you see the Sennelier art supply store on your right, otherwise the bus goes across the river and then you have a lovely but longer walk from the Louvre.

Excellent location and great staff. The room was quite small, but expected for the price and location.

This is a perfect hotel for those looking for a perfect location to visit museums, etc. Walk 30 seconds to Metro Line 10(with access to all other lines) and RER Line B(for easy access to Charles de Gualle Airport). All services are first class and the price is as reasonable as you will find in Paris.
Tips about Paris
If staying for a week, try to arrive on Sunday, bring a passport size picture and buy the Carte Orange/Navigo Decouverte Card(Good for one week, Monday thru Sunday) to save on the hassle of buying individual Metro and Bus tickets. Also, if you are visiting four or more museums, buy the 2 or 4 day paris museum pass to get good value and bypass ticket lines at all major museums.

Excellent location for the Latin Quarter. Many restaurants nearby. Hotel room was large enough with 2 beds. Staff very friendly.
Tips about Paris
Don't miss some of the smaller museums: l'Orangerie, Cluny, etc. They are very good, but smaller crowds to deal with.

Our room maid was excellent! The young desk clerk, who was stuck with a ceiling leak in the bathroom, was very attentive and made sure we had dry towels. He should be commended for his efforts. Merci beaucoup! Chris & Sharon
