The hotel is in an excellent location close to many of the 'must do' attractions and with the metro and RER on the doorstop. It is in a busy area, so ask for a quiet room at the back. The major disappointment was the local restaurants which were over-priced and served the same tourist-type food (chips with everything). Unfortunately, the hotel staff were not knowledgable about good places to eat.

Paris is always expensive to stay, but the Hotel Du Levant is very well located in Quartier Latin / Saint German and offers a good decent breakfast. I've been there for three times and have plans to stay again.

Hôtel de charme, chambres très joliment agencées, très bonne situation.
Dommage de ne pas avoir un ordi à disposition dans le hall.
Très agréable de pouvoir entrer dans la chambre à l'arrivée, quand elle est déjà prête (à 11h déjà). C'est rare. J'y reviens fréquemment, car c'est une très bonne adresse, très bien desservie.

Small hotel located in the heart of the Latin Quarter, yet surprisingly quiet and comfortable.

Tips about Paris
Take a fat tyre bike trip round Paris and/or go on one of the original Paris walks. Great fun, and better than sitting on a tourist bus any day.

The hotel is coviniently located. Close to metro and train RER. It is close to important historical sites and the area is walking friendly. The staff is professional and friendly, always eager to help. English is spoken by almost everyone and information of any type is on hands. I recomend the hotel to anyone. We definitely will stay at this hotel again.

Tips about Paris
To eat in a restaurant, check the menu. It must be in French or in French and other language, English perhaps. Use the metro or just walk. Bus tours are excellent to the fact that if you take the tour don't have to use the metro to go site seeing or shopping.

L'hôtel du Levant est un hôtel propre, confortable et bien placé. C'est un hôtel idéal pour quelqu'un qui préfère séjourner dans un petit hôtel bien placé où les chambres sont propres et l'accueil est chaleureux. En outre, il suffit de prendre une seule ligne de RER de Roissy et vous y êtes à 100 mètres! Je n'ai rien à reprocher: mon hôtel préféré sur Paris! Ce n'était pas la première fois que j'y ai séjourné, et je retournerai avec plaisir une autre fois !

We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location, as it was easy to either take the subway or walk to all major sites. I would definitely stay there again. We found the quality of the food of the restaurants around the hotel were not very good. They seemed to be only interested in getting you in to their business.

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Some street noise, but nothing out of the ordinary for the location. I would definitely stay here again if in Paris!

Good localization nearby restaurants and cafes. Hotel accomodations are good for couples or small families.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location. Very helpful staff and beautiful lobby. The family room was perfect for us, but expensive!
