Hotel staff was wonderful and the property charming and well located near Eiffel Tower, Invalides, and not too far from Champs-Elysee. Rooms are a little worn and there is no a/c or elevators. Nice garden area and comfortable lobby for sharing a nice bottle of wine before/after dinner in the area. Grab a bottle of wine from Stephane Morel's collection across the street from the hotel (he'll recommend some excellent wines for you). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

1) L'Ami Jean on rue Malar near hotel is an excellent Basque restaurant.
2) L'Antiquaire du Vin is an excellent wine shop on 12 rue Malar - ask proprietor Stephane Morel for a recommendation and tasting
3) make arrangements in advance for Eiffel Tower (online reservations can be made) to avoid the hour and a half wait

Excellent location within easy walking distance of the Eiffel Tower (and long walking distance of the Louvre), near several metro stops, a bus stop, grocery store, bakery, restaurants. Beautiful rooms. A lot of street noise in the front of the hotel. Breakfast is expensive--we ate elsewhere. Wireless internet is good. Friendly and helpful staff told us the best ways to get around.

Our picnic on the grounds of the Eiffel Tower was by far the highlight over going to the top. Going up (and down) the tower was nothing but standing in line over and over again--fairly miserable. If there are any lines, stay below. If it's at night, be sure to see the lights from below--they are beautiful and if you are stuck in line at the top, you can't see them. Make sure to go around the back of Notre Dame.

Fantastic little hotel near the Eiffel Tower and a short walk from the RER station. Very pleasant staff and quiet rooms.

From CDG airport, take the RER "B" train and then transfer to the RER "C" train. Exit at Invalides and the hotel is about a 7min walk.

Very friendly hotel staff.

A little noisy with the street in front but I wouldn't have wanted another room because windows were open on both sides and the breeze was lovely.

My son was ill and the fellows at the front desk could not have been more helpful and understanding.

Messages from the outside were promptly delivered.

Changes in our plans such as breakfast were accommodated to in a professional manner.
