My wife and I love this hotel. It's located in a great spot in Monmartre, about 50 meters from the Metro. There are lots of little shops and restaurants in the neighborhood, which is very lively and vibrant. We have stayed at Regyn's four times and are looking forward to our next visit.

Hôtel vraiment très agréable. La chambre
que nous avions jouissait d'une très jolie vue sur Paris et la tour Eiffel.

Regyn's has a fantastic location - walking distance to sacre coeur and moulin rouge, plus all the Montmarte attractions. Clsoe to a few metro stations too. Room wasn't overly large, but was adequate.
Tips about Paris
Using the three day transport ticket is well worth it. Getting around on the metro is very easy and there are stops at (or close to all the major attractions).

Excellent position in quiet but not too quiet area. Comfortable room. Worth paying extra for room with view. Lovely view of Eiffel Tower!
Tips about Paris
Just wander around & take in odd cafe/restaurant. Don't get too bogged down with seeing the sights. Montmatre lovely area for doing just that

Since 15 years we always stay in this hotel when we visit Paris. We feel very much at home in the neighbourhood. We have breakfast in Rue des Abbesses at the bakers, we drink our wine at the Café Saint Jean, we visit the Theatre de la Ville and we jump into the metro or have a walk up the hill to look out over Paris from the stairs of the Sacré Coeur. It starts all within just 50 metres from the hotel. It's the Paris of "Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" !

The room we had was quite small but it was also only €60 per night between two people which is very reasonable. The room was clean and tidy and the the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The area itself is very nice and has a few bars/cafes in the nearby area which I would recommend. I could see the spires of the Sacre-Coeur from my room which was an added treat. The cafe featured in the Amelie film is only two streets away and worth a visit. All in all I would recommend this hotel.

The view from the top floor was great! I appreciated the safe box in the room. The bed was comfortable and there was also a little bathtub. Quite thin walls allowed us to hear the neighbours conversation, but luckily they were quiet type... All in all the best hotel we have stayed in Paris so far. We do recommend this one!

Comments about the hotel
We had a wonderful stay with the most fantastic view over Sacre Coeur! Got exactly what we asked for - topfloor (5th) and a view! Chose a room with shared bathroom to keep down the cost - the shower on our floor was broken, but it was not a problem to use the shower on the 4th floor during our short trip. Toilet on 4th floor as well. The room is pretty small, not much room for luggage. The bed is really french size - petite, but very comfortable! Great value and perfect location.

It is nice and cosy, but very very small for normal luggage (room32). Very good to start the day in Paris. All in all I was satisfied.

Comments about the hotel
This hotel was lovely to stay in and we were able to obtain a special rate by booking early on the Internet. I think the rate we paid meant that we got one of the smaller rooms which was quite difficult to manoeuvre around but the hotel's location couldn't be faulted and it was a good base from which to go exploring. I would definitely stay there again but probably pay a bit extra for a larger room next time.
Tips about Paris
We stayed around the Montmatre area as we didn't want to get stuck in the tourist traps. The restaurants are expensive but there are plenty around the quieter streets offering fantastic set-price menus for as little as 11 Euros.
