Comments about the hotel
This is a fine, very well-run budget hotel, but the visit was somewhat spoiled by the early start on the construction site right outside our window. Not very much the hotel can do about it though!

Comments about the hotel
Every thing about the hotel was very good
other than the bed was harder than we are used to. I would recommend paying the extra for the breakfast, it was wonderful.
Tips about Paris
Use the open top bus tours to get your bearings when in Paris on the first day (stay on the bus and note all of the things you want to see)then use the same tour buses as transport to take you to all the attractions(hop on hop off). We purchased a 3 day bus pass. Ask at reception they were very helpful.

They showed travellers how to acces some
sightseeing spots and recommended to take No.72 bus from the hotel.

Comments about the hotel
Safe location, easy walking to great cafes, metro stations, small grocery stores, Eiffel Tower (approx. 1 mile), etc. The breakfast is not included and a steep price, but delicious & with much more selection than you'd get for the price at a street cafe. The room was very small (as are most in Europe)and walls quite thin. However, very clean hotel & staff is generally helpful, especially if you at least attempt to speak some French.
Tips about Paris
Definitely utilize the metro as much as possible. Eat at a different street cafe for every meal. This hotel is in a good area, but not convenient enough if you're elderly/disabled or looking to avoid a lot of walking to the extreme tourist spots of Paris, though.

It is a small (I think about 30 rooms) hotel at an excellent location in Paris. All the major attractions in Paris (Eiffel, Louvre, Notre Dame etc.) are easily accessible. The staff is friendly and helpful and speaks English. The breakfast is excellent. Three of us stayed in a "triple room". The room is small but considering the location, 140 per room night for three including breakfast is excellent value, in my opinion. I would recommend this especially to first time visitors.

The room was very clean and had a great mini fridge
It was also very close to attractions and in a relatively noiseless area.

Was supposed to be in a superior room but ended up in a standard room but other than that close to all attractions.
