The staff was helpful but I would suggest that they add fans to all the rooms during the summer. The best thing about the hotel is the location, it's on the lane with a supermarket, a variety of restaurants and ice cream shops

Carry sun block during the summer. Coming from India one expects to be able to tackle the heat but the sun is really strong

As a first timer in Paris, this was the perfect hotel for me and my friend. It is centrally located making every major landmark in the city within walking distance. The staff was fantastic and for our purposes, the room was perfect. With that said, it is a little small and tight, but we were just using it for sleeping, so it wasn't anything that detracted from our trip. I would plan on staying here again if I were to return to Paris because of the service and perfect location.

A very small lift and narrow stairs, walls are a bit thin so noisy neighbours are noticed but good beds, shower and great location!

Superb location - walking distance to top sights, metro, cafes and a supermarket across the road. Double glazing kept the room quiet. Small room but well laid out and functional

The location was the reason for selecting this hotel. We realised that the room would be very small, and it was very small, the smallest we have stayed in while in Paris. The staff are warm, welcoming and helpful.

Tips about Paris
Have your breakfast at Paul's down the street, you cannot beat the prices for the area and the food is delicious. Check the side streets off the main roads for better restaurant prices. Use the Metro, it is so easy and gets you around so quickly. This hotel location was very good for walking to the Louvre, Notre Dame, D'Orsay, Jardins du Luxemburgh and the Latin Quarter.

The only reason that I did not give 5 stars in all categories is because it is after all a two star hotel. However, its location is ideal, its accomodations perfectly adequate and its staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was charming, and the staff very helpful. The only drawbacks were that it was very hot and there were no fans or airconditioning. Also, there was construction going on just outside several of the beautiful French windows, causing some early morning noise and dust. Not really a problem as far as I was concerned, but my travel companions found it intolerable and had to change hotels.

A good city to be on your own. The St. Germain des Pres section is especially welcoming.

Chambre petite mais propre, accueil très sympathique et professionnel, petit-déjeuner (plateau + buffet) un peu impersonnel (aucune présence), quartier agréable et métro très proche.

Hôtel situé dans un quartier extra au coeur de paris quasiment. Accueil nickel, personnel courtois et discret. Lits très confortables !

Prendre l'open tour (cars impériaux) pour circuler dans la ville. C'est idéal pour aller partout et tout voir !

It is all about the location!!! But the room was very clean the bathroom is new!!! The feeling is like having a small nest in the center of town.
