We found Hotel des Deux Iles to be a lovely place to stay. The rooms are small but they are intimate, extremely clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms are very up to date.

Ile Saint Louis is very quaint. While the island certainly has plenty of tourists, we prefer this location because it's not in the more crowded touristy and commercial areas of the city.

We highly recommend this hotel and find it to be a great price for the location and quality of the room.

Petit hôtel très bien situe dans un quartier "typique" a 2 minutes de Notre Dame. Bien déservit par une station de métro a 5 minutes de l'hôtel.
Chambre très confortable.

I loved my stay at this hotel - it was charming and in the best location in Paris. The staff could not have been more helpful in helping with tours, directions, restaurants, etc. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Paris.

The staff members went out of their way to be helpful. I stayed in one of the single rooms and while it's definitely for only one person, it's very well designed so that it comfortably fits everything one needs in a small space. The only drawback was that the internet was down the whole day I was there, so I was not able to check email. Other than that minor problem, it was a terrific, small hotel and I would love to return.

Fabulous Location! What a wonderful street with the best restaurants. The hotel is comfortable, clean and friendly (with a lift!).
Vos astuces à Paris
Make sure your credit card has a chip in it (North American banks do not automatically do this yet) You cannot use your credit card at train and metro ticket machines without a chip also at many restaurants as well.

Location is excellent and the small hotel charming. Staff is courteous and helpful.

The continental breakfast used to be good but is now just some rolls, orange juice and coffee which is not worth the 11 Euros they charge. But it is in a quaint room in the hotel.

Do try Paris-Walks for some great walking tours but avoid Paris Walking Tours which is nowhere near as good.

Hotel des Deux Iles is a lovely little hotel in a fabulous location in Paris. It is very central, being on an island in the Seine, but very quiet. My double room (for a single person) was very nice and very clean, with elegant decor and a window onto the street. I was very comfortable and really enjoyed staying there.

Walk as much as you can, and get lost in the small streets of St Germain and the Marais - you'll find so many wonderful shops and things to see.
