The Hotel de la Tulipe is truly one of a kind. Nestled in a discreet and quiet neighborhood, at the junction of Paris' most visited and loved districts, this former convent has kept all its wonderful features of the past, like the ancient stone walls, apparent oak beams and quaint inner courtyard.
Regular guests form a little community of their own and will be delighted to tell you all about the wonderful times spent in this beautiful and friendly hotel , which also welcomes pets.
The owners wanted to provide a personalized experience to guests by making each room truly special. Whether you are staying in a single or in the apartment for up to five people, all have been tastily decorated with rich and colorful fabrics, intimate lighting and furniture to reflect the history of the building. The bathrooms have been done in the same spirit and you will certainly enjoy using the cosmetics from Provence laid in little wicker baskets. The traditional high windows facing the quiet street or wonderful courtyard allow daylight to flood in and you will think you are waking up in an old cottage buried deep in the country rather than in one of Europe’s busiest capitals.
You will have a hard time leaving the hotel after spending some time in the lounge and breakfast room. Both rooms have comfortable chairs, original beams and tiled floors but are just a preview to what the courtyard has to offer. You could spend all day soaking up the sun, reading a good book and sipping at a coffee in this quiet sanctuary with mature plants and old pave stones.
Wi-Fi is available in the whole building to ensure you stay in touch with your family and check out all the wonderful things to do in the City.
The famous market of the Cler Street along with all the little bistrôs and restaurants in streets nearby await you and the staff at the Hotel de la Tulipe will be more than happy to make reservations for shows, taxis and help you with any arrangements.
If Paris beckons then just take a short walk to the River Seine, the historical Invalides where Napoleon is buried, or the Champs de Mars Park, leading straight to the Eiffel Tower. With a private parking attached to the hotel and numerous buses and metro stations available in the neighborhood you will have the freedom to discover Paris at your own pace, with the knowledge that a little haven awaits your return.
