Set in a handsome typical Parisian building, the Hotel Victor Hugo conveys the elegance and charm of a French residence while offering all the comfort and technology of a three star 21st century establishment. Its location could not be more perfect. Nestled between the famous Champs-Elysées and the symbolic Eiffel Tower, you will be within walking distance of top designer shops, prestigious restaurants, theaters and clubs and will surely enjoy having a coffee at an authentic little bistro, taking a leisurely stroll in the Trocadéro garden with the beautiful Chaillot Palace nearby or going for a magical cruise along the River Seine.


The hotel is located in a quiet street and is named after the famous French author Victor Hugo, who lived at No 124 in the adjacent Avenue which now bears his name. An exponent of the Romantic Movement in France, Hugo wrote the notorious “Hunchback of Notre-Dame” but was also a poet, statesman and human rights activist. He is a true representation of 19th century’s French society and is famous for capturing and depicting the essence of Parisian life of that time and taking a political stand in “Les Misérables”, “Les Châtiments” ("Punishments") and many more. The hotel recently underwent a total renovation and the owners spared no expense to recapture the spirit of that era, involving local artisans in the process.


The ground floor was cleverly divided into various sections to accommodate the single traveler or groups of friends and families. The reception area with hanging ceiling and halogen lights is welcoming and contemporary, making you feel at ease right away. The staff is proud to represent this establishment and the quality of service is second to none.


The large lounge is extremely inviting with its comfortable leather couches and dark wooden furniture complimented by luxurious plants. Order a refreshing drink from the bar and browse through the numerous books from Victor Hugo and daily newspapers available or simply interact with other guests in the friendly and cosy atmosphere. The hotel serves a large breakfast-buffet of fresh pastries and breads, fruit salad, yogurts and cereals, as well as quality teas and coffees in the delightful indoor garden. An ice-machine is also available on the first floor.


The beautifully decorated bedrooms are exceptionally charming. Everything has been carefully thought of to make your stay a relaxing and enjoyable experience, from the air-conditioning to the free Wi-Fi access, flat screen satellite television, courtesy tray (tea & coffee), radio, minibar and safety deposit box. A laundry service is also available. The elegant antique furniture is enhanced by the deep colors of rich fabrics and carpets from royal blue to chocolate brown and lavish reds. Light floods in through the large traditional Parisian style windows and the comfortable beds with plump pillows will ensure you get a good night sleep before exploring Paris.
