The Ile St Louis island is blissfully quiet, yet in the center of Paris. The hotel is charming, the staff warm, helpful and welcoming.

First off the location of this hotel CANNOT be beat ! It is almost right next to Notre Dame, so it's very easy to orient yourself and start exploring central Paris. The staff are so helpful and friendly. ! Especially Denis. Also, they have a great continental breakfast - it's a really nice way to start out the day. The rooms are small but that is to be expected. I can't say enough about the location and staff (those are the 2 most important factors in my opinion) The price is great!!

Make sure to check the opening / closing times of the sites you want to visit (ie/ the Louvre I think is closed on Tuesdays.)

The staff were excellent and friendly. The location is fantastic. The only downside is a small (but cosy) bathroom.

I really like this Hotel. It has an old world charm that is lost in many other Paris Hotels. I have stayed at the Hotel many times and I always enjoy myself there.

The hotel Saint-Louis is quaint and the rooms are small but that is to be expected in a historic city like Paris. The location of the hotel on Ile St. Louis is just wonderful, away from the busy streets but within walking distance to many shops, cafes, restaurants and historic sites such as Notre Dame. We were looking for something romantic and this hotel fit the bill. I highly recommend Hotel St. Louis.

This was our second visit to the hotel Saint Louis and will not be our last. The location is excellent, the value for the money can not be beat, and the staff is helpful, courteous and engaging. Equally important, to us, is that the hotel itself is quintessentially European: small, intimate and warm.

Loved the location although I'd not like the summer crowds on that street. Rooms small but comfortable. Good reading light and closet space. Excellent location for walking.

Very good and quiet location. Nice old-fashioned building even though a bit claustrophobic. The bathroom was new but unfortunately too small and thus the setting of the sanitary fittings was uncomfortable with the WC just behind the door, no bidet, and the narrow bathtub lacking the hand shower. The room was at the ground floor in front of the corridor to the breakfast room and with the window just on the road.

Great location and very friendly staff. The bathroom is very nice and the room was very clean...the beds and linens really need to be replaced as they are showing their age. I would recommend for location and friendliness but be aware that the rooms are very basic.

Location is great! Buy a museum pass and go to the Louvre over and over...again. It is right outside your hotel door! Bakery just steps away and cafe next door is wonderful.

Superior Double was a tad small but big enough to be comfortable. Hallways are tight and the elevator is made for two, but cozy. The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. And, other than some confusion on wake-up calls, the staff was very helpful and attentive....especially with email help before we even got there.

The double decker bus tour is very informative. Try some "out of the way" restaurants. Allow 3 to 4 hours for the Eiffel tower journey.And, if you don't have some local pastry then you have missed a great treat. Metro and buses are the way to travel..walking gets you some nicer scenery.

Arrived at hotel Saint Louis for 1 night for 2 rooms, as only in city for short time wanted to check-in at lunchtime, there was no problem, the receptionist was great and our rooms were quirky & fun (and quite big!) The receptionist recommended somewhere for lunch and was really helpful. Did not have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on the food, but otherwise I thoroughly recommend the hotel, it was a real find. (we have a standard double (on top floor) & a deluxe double, both excellent !)
