Hôtel bien charmant, très bien situé, personnel attentionné, salle de bain fonctionnelle. OK pour air clim., tv, secrétaire, rangement, minibar et vue Église Saint-Séverin. Chambre étroite (2 petits lits simples accolés). En $ canadien, Paris est devenu coûteux : Petit hôtel parisien = plus coûteux que Grand Hôtel à Québec avec 2 lits Queen séparés. On ne peut comparer ou alors doubler le coût des euros/nuit.

At the time of booking, only a triple room was available. However, the price was right, so we went for it. The room was very spacious and quiet, located at the end of a hallway. The neighborhood is fantastic - blocks from Notre Dame, lots of students walking around, very lively, many restaurants and cafes and music venues. The free wifi was helpful for staying in contact with our business back at home. Would definitely stay here again.

Adorable little hotel in a wonderful location. Centrally located for walking, right across the street from a long alleyway filled with all kinds of tiny, delicious restaurants, and has several metro stops and lines just a block or 2 away. I felt safe coming back from the metro alone after late dinners out. The Seine and Notre Dame are just a block away and there are cafes lining the street. The receptionist was helpful and booked a shuttle van for me both from and to CDG. Free wi-fi in the room

Go to www.paris-walks.com. They run inexpensive guided walks (in English) on many different themes and don't require reservations. Just show up at the designated starting time/place and pay when you arrive. The most important advice in Paris is walk, walk, walk. When you're exhausted, there will always be a cafe for a break, or a metro stop nearby to bring you back. The metro system is easy to use. Spend time exploring the left bank, walk rue Mouffetard. Enjoy! Great in any season!

Very conveniently located just steps away from the St. Michael metro. My room on the 6th floor greeted me with a charming view of a beautifully illuminated Notre Dame. The room itself was completely adequate, if somewhat of a quirky layout. I would definitely stay at the Henri IV again.

Fine location in the Latin Quarter and next to Notre Dame Cathedral. Staff just as helpful as can be. If you find a nicer place for the price in Paris, you're one lucky traveller. Get a mid-size or larger room.

The hotel is located in a convenient area of Paris. Close to Notre Dame, metro and restaurants. We stayed two night and three full days. The staff was nice to allow us to leave our luggage for the entire day and pick it up at 5:00 p.m. when we departed for the train. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The only complaint was it is located on a busy street and you could hear the noise in evening!

Take the double decker bus tour on day one if this is your first visit to Paris. It allows you to view everything of importance and gives you a mapping of the city. After that you can travel anywhere on foot and metro. Go to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Take the Bateaux Seine River cruise in the evening to really capture the beauty of Paris the 8:00 p.m. boat is best!

Stayed with my older daughter for 4 nights. Well located for walking or use of subway to all major sites. Hotel Henri IV met expectations and would stay again. Very convenient to Notre Dame subway station.

Even having read the great reviews about this hotel I did not expect it to be as good as it was. The perfect location.....right in the middle of the Latin Quarter with all its wonderful restaurants and cafesand buzzy atmosphere but with the Metro so close by, the rest of Paris was so accessible. I travelled with two friends and the triple room was ideal. Plenty of space and well furnished. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. We are definitely planning a return visit!

Do make reservations for dinner before hand. All the best restaurants are pretty full at weekends. Take a good map and then just walk and walk and take it all in! Stop regularly for a coffee or abeer and watch the world go by - so relaxing!

The location was perfect access for the sights I had planned for this visit. It was charming, quiet, clean and spacious for Europe. The majority of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Vos astuces à Paris
Stay in the Left bank and enjoy people watching. Spend time in the cafes,the Tuillere on the metro just soaking her in and the reward is nearly the same as the Lourve.

Truly delightful, staff very friendly, exceptionally clean, continental breakfast very good and cook very extraordinary with the freshly squeezed orange juice and her egg omelets. Highly recommend and great location.

Comfortable and clean and quiet. Staff very helpful when one of us fell quite ill that night. They procured the physician for us, who came to see us, twice in fact. In the morning, they directed us to a nearby pharmacy, and arranged for our taxi.
