Comments about the hotel
A charming hotel exceptionally well located in the heart of the bustling Marais yet tucked away on a quiet side street. Room was well appointed, clean and efficient. Since my trip was during the summer - A/C, luxe by French standards, was welcome. Hotel staff were able to accommodate (though not guarantee) my early check-in which after arriving from the US on the "red eye" was welcome; staff were otherwise helpful with directions and suggestions. Wireless Internet also a plus.
Tips about Paris
July was VERY hot and humid and there is very little Air Conditioning anywhere in Paris. Marais is a marvelous neighborhood to stay -- this hotel is a short walk to Les Halles Metro.

Comments about the hotel

Comments about the hotel
The room, although not large, was very comfortable with a good bathroom. The location at the centre of Paris is really convenient and the atmosphere in the local cafes and restaurants is exciting.

Comments about the hotel
This location is perfect and within easy walking distance to Les Halles, Centre Pompidou and Ile de la Cite. A quiet street in the middle of everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. We will be staying here again for sure.
Tips about Paris
The train from either airport stops at Chatelet/ Les Halles and is about a 15 minute easy walk from here. Rambuteau or Hotel de Ville Metro are both very near. Les Halles is very lively for bars and restaurants into the evening every night. This side of the Marais has lots of gay bars for happy hour and clubs as well.

Comments about the hotel
Very well situated, clean and quiet. Only problem is that some rooms have windows towards the very narrow back yard - lessons learned . You must know which rooms you get when booking and all hotels should inform visitors about options when they book - to avoid 'blind bookings'
Tips about Paris
Do not go in holydays - too crowded - especially organised tours and tour boats a pest.

Location excellent, clean quiet hotel. Re-designed rooms.
Tips about Paris
Walked slowly through the small alleys, each one has a special charm, wine, smells of coffee and fresh baguette every corner.

Modeste mais bien. Personnel obligeant. Hôtel bien situé dans un quartier vivant, tout près des musées.

Tips about Paris
The Marais is a very vibrant neighborhood, but St-Germain-des-Prés has a charm that is almost unbeatable.

We went to Paris for our honeymoon. Without a doubt, if you want to stay at a hotel with great value and a helpful and nice staff, I would easily and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It really is in a great district within walking distance to most tourist attractions such as the Louvre and Notre Dame. It is on a quiet side street but another street away from all the hustle and bustle of Paris, so it is like the best of both worlds. Yes, the rooms are small, but this is Paris.

Very nice little hotel in the center of paris. Rooms are REALLY small, but it has everything you need. Towels smell nice and there is an AC! So you don't have to open a window (and stay awake because of the noise...). Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Good location. Discounted price of 90euros/room made it good value. Being renovated. Shower curtain would have been nice.
