Les 2 forces de cet hôtel : sa situation géographique et son charme vieillot et typiquement parisien. Sa faiblesse a été l'inconfort du matelas. Je retournerais sans hésitation à cet hôtel et le recommanderai à mes amis.

The hotel is in a very central location and for this reason I would stay there again. Parking is a problem.

Comments about the hotel
Great location, charming rooms, short distances to some of the best places in Paris for young people. Could do with A/C in the summer time, and WiFi coverage is only for the reception (buy a few access points for the other floors?)
Tips about Paris
See Marais and St Germain in daytime, eat baguette avec chambon et fromage in Jardin du Luxembourg, snack a macaron from Ladurée and dine at Relais L'entrecote and Relais du comptoire.

Comments about the hotel
This hotel delivers exactly what they advertise. It offers simple & clean accommodations in a great area. There are no frills at this hotel. A simple room, clean toilet and shower close to the metro, simple breakfast and in a fantastic part of St. Germain. When traveling on a budget this place is great!

Comments about the hotel
This hotel is wonderfully located -- great for walking and convenient to metro, RER and river travel. The room was lovely, charming, airy and clean. The street below was noisy at night, however, due to warm weather, traffic and proximity to bars and restaurants. The staff was helpful and responsive.
Tips about Paris
The only "must" is comfortable shoes! The people we encountered were helpful and kind.

Comments about the hotel
Stayed in a room on the back of the 4th floor facing the backyard. As commented by other travellers, this hotel does not have an escalator and surely will not be suitable for people who have difficulties in climbing stairs. However, it does have its own charm. The price we paid was reasonable with breakfast included. Its location is unbeatable. The staff were friendly. I would recommend it to those who don't mind to climb more steps after a long day visiting Paris' attractions.
Tips about Paris
It's recommendable to purchase a 5-day Visite Pass if you are visiting for 5 days or above. It makes life easier.

A good choice for Paris - a front room would have been better. Great rail connection.

Perfect location for visiting Paris on foot and via Metro, small rooms but adequate, many winding steps as one should expect in an "antique" building.
