Comments about the hotel
Hôtel à la hauteur de nos espérances pour ce séjour. Très bien situé à quelques centaines de mètres seulement de la Tour Eiffel, et des grands boulevards.
De surcroît très calme et dans un quartier fort agréable à vivre.
A recommander à tous.

Comments about the hotel
The Hotel was in a great location. Lots of places to eat in the area, close to the bus stop and a good area to walk around and you can walk to the Eiffel Tower. Our room was nice, off the garden but small and somewhat stuffy. We slept with the window open which let in a pesty mosquito!

Incredibly charming and quaint, my room was literally off the garden. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended
Tips about Paris
Get reservations for dinner, preferred buses rather than underground, French people very friendly and helpful.

Staff was corteous and helpful for directions. Rooms were spacious for Paris and quaint. Courtyard beautiful. Good location to easily get to the tourist sites, but felt like you were a Parisian rather than a tourist at the end of the day.

Comments about the hotel
Very charming hotel. Comfortable and clean rooms. Staff was accomodating. Breakfast at the hotel was a convenient option. School across the street may be a nuisance for those sleeping in past 8am. Overall the area is quiet and close to sites. A very short walk to the Eiffel Tower and Champs de Mars.
Tips about Paris
Buy metro tickets at Tabacs don't mess with the ticket machines in the station.Try the scenic Batobus for visiting major sites. Don't waste your time with taxi stands. Be prepared to walk! Make some reservations for dinner at recommended places so you are not stuck searching last minute and being refused at the door for no reservation. Consider a day trip to Versailles. Know what terminal you depart from at CDG if flying Air France.

Comfortable and clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Would be happy to return in the future. Well positioned for the Eiffel tower and Rue Cler market and restaurants.
Tips about Paris
A great city full of familiar sights. It is easy to get about either walking or by using the metro. The relaxed atmosphere, many parks and plentiful cafe's make exploring very enjoyable.

Quartier animé, très français. L'Hôtel parfait, le bain un peu trop petit!!! Le personnel toujours proche a nos besoins!!!

Great staff, lovely hotel, fantastic location. You read many poor reviews of Parisian hotels but we were very happy to have stayed here. Would consider returning and have already recommended the hotel to friends and other travellers.
Tips about Paris
Buying your own food is far cheaper than eating in hotels and restuarants. Food still tastes great at a fraction of the price. We were able to take lunches into many places (e.g. the Louvre) and avoid big costs for poor quality food.
Also, expect small rooms in Paris. It's an old city with old buildings. Small rooms are part of the charm.

Bijou and perfectly formed - rooms not large but ambiance very charming and perfectly located.
Tips about Paris
Use the river as a way of getting around - the batobus is a perfect means of transport

Fantastic place to stay. Quaint, romantic and close to everything. Just wish they'd serve something different for breakfast once in a while, but it was all great. We had a wonderful time and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were served.
Tips about Paris
One very big tip for English speaking people, just attempt to speak French, the locals appreciate an attempt to experience their culture and will help you with the language.
The cruise and dinner on the tower combination was great. No lines to stand in and the service was very good. All the sidewalk cafes were enjoyments and jewells. Just love the place.

Comments about the hotel
When we arrived we felt so welcomed. The towels could have been a better quality and our soaps etc. were never replinished in the three days we stayed. The room was small but very cozy, clean but the mattress could have been of better quality. Coffee was not hot when served but otherwise breakfast was nice with the service mostly excellent.
Tips about Paris
It was set in an excellent place for convenience. For Metro, for bus line...especially the bus number 69 which gets you to all the best sights in Paris, and great resturants and Starbucks, too! :) We could have walked to most places if I had not just had a knee replacement in last year.
