Great location, quiet and private. Small rooms with very limited amenities. Nice breakfast room with basic offerings. Lovely garden.

A lot of noise from street level with the school opposite. Comfortable room and very friendly and helpful staff.

Charming and stylish. Hotel in a wonderful location. The garden courtyard makes this a very special place to stay in the centre of the city. Friendly staff and pretty rooms.
Tips about Paris
A wonderful city to explore, but bring your walking shoes--it's bigger than it looks on the map!

Lovely, quaint hotel with comfortable and nicely designed rooms in a great location. I especially loved the courtyard. My only quibble was with the price, which was a bit too steep for a poor student like myself, but it was worth it all in all!

Very comfortable clean hotel, owners very pleasant and helpful. Found it very costly especially without breakfast but hey ho that's Paris. It is so ideally situated for visiting all the tourist attractions can walk to most of them that this makes up for the price.
Tips about Paris
Buy metro train and museum passes beforehand, we used the Hello Paris web site which was brilliant for info and value.

A 10 mn à pied métro pont de l'Alma et très bien situé. Je recommande le musée du Quai BRANLY.

We thought that for 10 Euros we should get more than a croissant & bread, some fruit, juice a and coffee. Bernard was great and very helpful.

Comments about the hotel
We're American military stationed in Germany for 8+ years and have stayed here 4 times with friends and family, and older parents on their first trip to Europe. The staff is very friendly, patient, and helpful. I've had rooms with showers, with tubs only, and one with the shower/WC combo that just had a blue plastic shower curtain to separate the two. Been to Paris over 12 times; still my favorite place to stay!
Tips about Paris
We go to rue Cler for breakfast at PTT for the standard cafe/croissant/juice, or Cafe Central if we're wanting a big brunch. Our older parents need protein for breakfast, and both of these places do omelets at very reasonable prices.

Fantastic position just down the road from the Eiffel Tower in a little street. Very large room for Paris standards. Has a lovely rooftop terrace. Decent Price.
Only small issue, was there was a bit of noise at night if you have a room facing the street - but we like to have a window open.
We definately recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

A room off the garden is a must! It was the perfect little touch of France pour moi! Felt at home, sat in the jardin having a nightcap after the fireworks at the Tour Eiffel...does it get any better? Will let you know after my next stay!
Tips about Paris
Almost every shop was closed during my stay due to Bastille Days *saved the pocketbook*... and although the market was open, they were not able to sell alcohol those days....so BYOB...Bring Your Own Bottle ! Fireworks were spectacular !

Comments about the hotel
Good location and close to attractions and Metro; however, rates are too high for this hotel. Basic small sized room cost too much at 150 Euros and breakfast at 10 Euros was also too high. Breakfast does not compre with with local pastry shops and bars. We will now look to vacation in the USA where most hotel rates and restaurant prices are indeed affordable.
Tips about Paris
For longer visits, try to learn and use the bus routes vs. the Metro. With Metro, you have to walk forever to find a station and then walk forever underground for connections, exits, etc. Many Metro stops do not have up/down escalators which is a problem for disabled, elderly and others just too tired to walk up/down. Paris really needs to make accommodations for disabled and the elderly a top priority.

Comments about the hotel
The location was great, except that on our first morning we were awakened by lots of noise. This lasted at least an hour. We did not realize we were across from a school. It appeared to have been the last day of school for some, so it was quieter on the following mornings. We had some staff who were quite helpful and friendly and others who were just the opposite. We did appreciate the shuttle service to and from the airport, which the hotel staff arranged.
Tips about Paris
Buy the museum pass if you are going to be there several days.
Be aware of pickpocket scams (people picking up a gold ring near the Louvre and asking if it is yours). Also be wary of the "guide" at the Pere LeChaise Cemetery. We loved the restaurants on Rue Cler, just a couple of blocks from the B and B!
