The two gentlemen who were there working throughout our stay were gracious, friendly, professional and very interested in our comfort and enjoyment of Paris.
Tips about Paris
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. I was grateful for the competitive price in view of the location. I will always check here first for accommodations when I return to Paris, and recommend it in the strongest terms!!

Very friendly hotel staff.
A little noisy with the street in front but I wouldn't have wanted another room because windows were open on both sides and the breeze was lovely.
My son was ill and the fellows at the front desk could not have been more helpful and understanding.
Messages from the outside were promptly delivered.
Changes in our plans such as breakfast were accommodated to in a professional manner.

Comments about the hotel
Oozing charm and character rather than luxury, this hotel is the perfect location for seeing around the centre of Paris as it is minutes from the Eiffel Tower. The rooms are individual and quaint, and provide all the usual facilities one would expect sch as ensuite, mini bar TV etc. Breakfast was also charming and good value, although continental (don't expect a good British fry-up!)

A historic building in an excellent location near the Eiffel tower, restaurants, transportation, and a university.
Tips about Paris
Great public transportation. Allow two or three hours to get to Charles Degaule airport. Travel light. Totally enjoyable

Comments about the hotel
Except for the lack of AC in the rooms (a minor problem during the late Spring/Summer), the hotel was excellent -- great value for money, with friendly staff and a bevy of fantastic restaurants nearby. The courtyard was a fun place to relax with a bottle of wine before dinner.

I found this a very good hotel with a nice room, good bed and a country like atmosphere with a beautiful courtyard.
The personel at the desk and in the kitchen to prepare breakfast were very friendly. I certainly recommend this hotel for a stay
