Comments about the hotel
Very fine small, family-run hotel: I have stayed here many times, over more than 20 years. Excellent breakfast (can be taken in the charming garden on nice days), free Wi-Fi in the rooms, amazing quiet for the center of Paris. They have a ground floor back room with a double and a single bed, for those traveling with 3. Small, simply furnished rooms, as in all such hotels: single room beds are too short for tall people. Nice neighborhood,
Tips about Paris
Near the Hotel, great shops on rue de Commerce: fine butcher across from Commerce Metro; Kaiser boulangerie; cheese shop nearly facing them. On Sunday am, great open air market on the nearby boulevard.

Comments about the hotel
A friend and I stayed at this hotel while traveling during the summer, the hotel was located close to the eiffel tower, a bit of a ways walk to other tourist attractions (like notre dame, the louvre), but the subway was right down the street, and easy enough to figure out. We didnt have a.c., but opened the windows at night, and didnt really have an issue with it being to hot. If you absolutely need a.c. I wouldnt choose this hotel. Otherwise, no complaints!

Charming hotel with a wonderful, friendly staff! On a quiet street just a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower. Loved their peaceful garden terrace. Nice refuge after a busy day in Paris. Will definitely go back. The only drawback was very small room and tiny bathroom, but still enjoyed our stay!
Tips about Paris
Watch the twinkling white lights that go on at the Eiffel Tower on the hour at dark for 5 minutes. It's awesome! Also go to restaurant on the Seine right of where you catch the Parisien boat cruise. Fabulous view of tower from this side and wine at 5 euro not at all bad for the incredible view!

A very nice hotel in many ways--a very warm welcome, a clean comfortable room, good sized bed and bathroom; a lovely garden in which to have breakfast or just sit. An interesting neighborhood with many varied restaurants. The hotel is one block from three Metro lines so most of Paris is very easy to reach. And, you can walk to the Eiffel Tower,

My single room was small but was comfortable. Friends had double rooms that were bigger and had a nice bathroom. Hotel staff was very nice! It was very convenient to the Grenelle Metro stop and several cafes and bakeries. We had a great stay. Would stay again if we go back.

Room was clean, bright and reasonably spacious. Shower was very tight to get in and out of.
Quiet road but near to a number of busy roads and amenities
Tips about Paris
Close to a number of attractions, within walking distance.

We have stayed at the Hotel 3 times the last 6 years. We love the location and the staff, Bernard always helps us with plans and tells us the best way to accomplish what we plan to do. The garden is a pleasant place to relax have a snack or a glass of wine to unwind at the end of a busy day.

My only complaint is that there is no air conditioning, which isn't a problem unless it's hot outside. We've stayed there 3 times and have always had a wonderful experience.
