Tips about Paris
Take the Fat Tire Bike Company tours, they're so fun and made my trip to Paris spectacular.

Very quaint, great location and price. Shower very, very small. Double bed was two singles pushed together which was a bit uncomfortable. Garden lovely.

I stayed in this hotel for 7 days with my 13 years old daughter, Excellent Location with two Metro Lines to major places, 15 minutes walk to Tour Eiffel, McDonld and Monoprix right by the corner of hotel, SUPER CLEAN!!!! as I expected, must try the Sushi next to McDonald, so yummy! Bernard (The Handsome man) was very helpful, also the night duty man with long hair SUPER NICE !! A cozy and lovely little hotel!!! A little suggestion if Bernard can install mini fridge. Internet connection too slow
Tips about Paris
Bus 80 in front of hotel also going to Champ Elysee. Must book ticket on line ahead if you want to go the top level of Eiffel Tower otherwise waste time queuing few hours down the tower, book between 9 to 10 pm to view both sunset and night view.
First Sunday of the month Lourve free entrance, buy Metro/bus tickets 10 pieces in a booklet if you staying more then 5 days

Comments about the hotel
Parken sehr teuer. Bezahlbare Brasserien in der Nähe. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut.
Tips about Paris
Nicht mit dem Auto nach Paris fahren. Metro fährt fast überall hin. Parken teuer.

Comments about the hotel
The location is perfect! It's only one block away from a metro stop with connections to three different lines. This provided us easy access to all of Paris! The courtyard provides a lovely setting for breakfast each morning. The owners are helpful and very willing to please. I would definitely stay at Hotel de l'Avre again.

Tips about Paris

Good hotel and great for a base to visit France. Rooms and bathroom are on the small side though but fine for a couple of nights.
Tips about Paris
Turn right out of hotel and metro is at top of road. If you go left like we did you go round in a big circle!!!!

Comments about the hotel
The hotel is nice and quiet though very central and close to Metro.
Breakfast is served in a very nice garden backyard.
A little thing to critisise was the exact same breakfast for seven days incl. Sunday - a little bit of variation may be nice for longer staying guests.

Comments about the hotel
Very fine small, family-run hotel: I have stayed here many times, over more than 20 years. Excellent breakfast (can be taken in the charming garden on nice days), free Wi-Fi in the rooms, amazing quiet for the center of Paris. They have a ground floor back room with a double and a single bed, for those traveling with 3. Small, simply furnished rooms, as in all such hotels: single room beds are too short for tall people. Nice neighborhood,
Tips about Paris
Near the Hotel, great shops on rue de Commerce: fine butcher across from Commerce Metro; Kaiser boulangerie; cheese shop nearly facing them. On Sunday am, great open air market on the nearby boulevard.
