Lovely, friendly staff. Very helpful and gracious. Truly, staying here is like being among friends. Location is perfect for Paris first-timers, so close to everything. Would not change a thing.

Walk everywhere, as much as possible. There is so much to see, especially if you are staying at Hotel de Lutece with the incomparable Ile Saint-Louis as your base. Most everything is either a leisurely stroll or a quick ride on the nearby metro away.

We were a group celebrating my mother's 80th birthday and took two rooms in the hotel. I cannot recommend the hotel too highly. Its location is perfect for accessing all parts of Paris and it is very well served by public transport. The staff were extremely helpful without being intrusive, the hotel is very quiet and the slightly small size of the bedrooms is made up for by the excellent quality of both room and bathroom. It is hard to find fault.

From this well located hotel I was able to navigate my way around Paris easily. My room was quiet, comfortable and looked just like the pictures on the website. On Ile de St Louis the hotel is surrounded by numerous little shops including a great bakery and a cheese shop right across the street and numerous cafes and bistros within a few minutes walk.

Small room, but very well designed for putting away clothing, luggage, travel books, etc. Lots of closets, shelving and built-ins as well as a new marble bath and great shower. Quite neighborhood street.

I wouldn't change a thing. Great location. Room adequate size with good storage space. Great light (4th floor), high ceilings. Nice view over the Rue St. L.Little market, cheese shop, wine store all very close. Furniture lacked style, but functional and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom newly renovated and sparkling. Tasty breakfast, but probably no bargain at 13 euro, but it's nice to have it right there. Plenty of alternative spots for breakfast nearby.
