The staff is extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. Rooms are a bit small, but perfect for the traveler who is out and about all day anyway.

The hotel is very well located, especially for some of the major tourist attractions. Lots of good places to eat nearby. My room was bigger than expected, breakfast had a great selection (although maybe a bit on the high side at 12 euro) and the staff were very helpful.

The internet arrangements need to be fixed so that one can send email from ones own Microsoft Outlook email programme while one line. This is currently how it is in most hotels.

I have been using this hotel up to 4 times a year for the past ten years. I have found it consistently good. I need good value for money. The Hotel de France Invalides provides a clean, secure room for one and a good breakfast. (I am not a great user of room service, in house laundry services etc). The staff are always well organised, friendly and very helpful. Added to this, the hotel is in a beautiful part of Paris !

Excellent location to major attractions in downtown Paris. We extended our stay 2 extra days on short notice, and unfortunately there was no room available for the last night. The staff were extremely helpful, said don't worry, and found us a similarly priced hotel nearby.

Tips about Paris
Visiting Paris in the winter is great- no crowds or lines, and you warm up with a cafe au lait in the cafe!
Also, if you are interested in seeing a show at the Lido, get the Paris Visite card for 1/2 off. Saved us 70 Euros.

Location was excellent. Right beside the Invalides. We stayed there for 2 nights for New Years and it was perfect as the Eiffel Tower was a very safe 10 minute walk. The staff were all very very friendly and helped us in anything that we wanted. The bathroom was quite small and so was the lift but this hotel was perfect for what we required and I would definitely stay here again. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel.

Très grande gentillesse du personnel, très propre, très bonne relation qualité/prix. Excellent petit-déjeuner. Bien situé, proche de la Tour Eiffel et des transports publics. A recommander!...

Charming hotel with wonderful views of Les Invalides. The staff were so helpful and accommodating and were nice enough not to laugh at our attempts to speak French!

We visited in December, and although we were dressed for cold weather, we got quite chilled during all the outdoor walking.
