The staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The room was very small and so was the elevator. Excellent location. Quite. Breakfast is overprised.
Tips about Paris
If you don't mind walking long distance, from this hotel you can get to about anywhere.

Comments about the hotel
This hotel is really a little gem in Paris. Great location, super value, the largest room I have ever come across for this rating of hotel (or even higher for Paris). The staff were all very lovely and helpful. Lovely pillows! Good breakfast. Easy to book and request travel cot for our son. No problems whatsoever!!
Tips about Paris
Go out on the 'Batobus', a circular hop on/off boat trip on the river. Great way to get around and good value.

Comments about the hotel
Very convenient location, easy walking distance from Metro - to the E.Tower, Invalides, Musee D'Orsay etc. Safe, clean, quiet & the reception staff from the moment Mum & I arrived were extremely helpful and assisted us so much with speaking in English. Very much appreciated!
Tips about Paris
Wear decent walking shoes & walk until you drop :-) beautiful city & whilst the Metro is FANTASTIC, convenient & quick - you really do get that added experience from enjoying Paris on foot. The bikes located near the Metros are also handy too!! We loved the Musee d'Orssay - well worth a visit. We did this post a trip to Monet's Garden, which I think helped me appreciate his original work even more.

Bathroom was very, very small. Nowhere to put washbag and knocked off towel rail three times! Staff were very helpful. When will French hotels have tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms?
Tips about Paris
Wear comfortable shoes and take public transport which is reasonably cheap and comfortable. Taxis are ok but difficult to stop one in the street. Paris is a wonderful city and the hotel is well-placed.

Comments about the hotel
The hotel is located in a great spot, just a few blocks away from the Eiffel Tower and right around the corner from Ecole Militaire metro stop. The staff were very friendly. The hotel room was large according to European standards. We didn't try the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. Overall, this is a great hotel, in a good location, clean and a good value. We would stay here again and will most definitely be referring this hotel to our friends and family.

It is a small hotel but for those who are seeking just a place to sleep and want to be close to touristic places in paris, I would recommend the hotel. Althoudh the prices were normal for Paris, I still believe that cheaper hotels can be sought.

Great location in the 7th Arrondisement of Paris. Great staff too!
Oh, and the bathroom/shower was absolutely FANTASTIC. Big and airy with ample space and one of the best showers we had on our trip (which could be due to traveling for 18+ hours before arriving).
If we were to come back to the same area of Paris, we would have no hesitation staying here again!

In great part of town, minutes walk to Eiffel Tower. Staff were very helpful. I loved looking out onto Napoleons Tomb and with my head out the window could see Sacreur Cour. We would stay here again!
Tips about Paris
Using the Met was great and helped us get around so easily.

Comments about the hotel
We had room with view of les Invalides, which was wonderful, even though avenue traffic was a bit noisy with the balcony doors open. The area is residential- a real plus, and easy walking distance to many great destinations. Did not use the hotel breakfast option, my daughter objected to the below-ground setting.
Other than that, the hotel is very good-especially for a two star. We will be back. Loved this hotel.
Tips about Paris
Best restaurant: Le Bosquet, 46 Ave.Bosquet. thoughtful, caring service, superb food.
Batobus was fun, but very crowded. We did not use the off and on again option. For just a ride on the Seine would suggest the Bauteau Mouche, which is a little cheaper than the batobus, but you can't get off and on again.
Highly recommend Rue Cler for shopping and the food offerings looked fabulous.
Be extra careful when purchasing metro tickets at the machines. Almost had my credit card stolen.

We found the hotel very quiet and clean. It is in a fantastic, central location, being a short walk to the Eiffel Tower, local streets with great patisseries and cafes, and literally over the road from the beautiful Hotel de Invalides. Rodin's Museum & garden is only a short walk away too, which I would highly recommend. Public transport links to the Metro are only a 5/7 minute walk away.

Stayed in this hotel on our honeymoon and returned last week for our ten year anniversary. Has only improved with time, and is an excellent hotel, at an excellent value, with an incredible location. It is hard to find a better hotel for the cost in this area of Paris. It is a solid upper-two-star hotel and is within a quick walk of many key Parisian sites, and just next to the Rue Cler area. The staff are helpful and kind, and the rooms are small but comfortable. We recommend this hotel!

This was a great, clean, and pretty quiet hotel within a few blocks of the Eiffel Tower and seemingly everything else. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating and I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel as a great home base while in Paris.
