Great location for my meetings. Rooms small and basic, but typical for central Paris. Not noisy for street side room. Stayed in a newer "designer" version in the 4th a few months ago for E230. Just a bit fancier and trendy with bigger bathroom. However, I booked Tronchet directly online where I was offered a discount (E154), making it good value for money. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Receptionist spoke English very well if needed. Breakfast was nice and wait staff very friendly.

The included breakfast is not a good value - just go across the street to a cafe for much better coffee and snacks for a fraction of the price. No gym facilities (but to be expected in a boutique hotel). The steam heat can be stifling in the room.

Hôtel très bien placé, agréable, propre ; personnel très accueillant. Le tarif du petit déjeuner nous a semblé un peu élevé.

Je ne connaissais pas cet hôtel mais j'y retournerai avec plaisir lors d'un prochain séjour à Paris surtout avec un prix attractif !

We had room at reduced rate - might have been a little disappointed at full rate as room small and decor a little shabby. Breakfast expensive (did not have it - good boulangeries near).
However, air conditioning and full length window which we could open, at tree top level. Good shower room. Comfortable beds with crisp white sheets. Excellent central location.

Take comfortable shoes. The centre of the city is manageable on foot and you see so much more that way. Make sure you have a good street map.

Very conveniently located for walking to many tourist attractions. Pleasant staff.

The breakfast is a little expensive. But the location is great and close to everything.

Use the subway scroll down and english or another language will appear. Also if you have the hotel call a cab for you the cab charges from the time it recieves the call.

Great hotel! I really loved the location and the staff was very, very courteous. They clearly get a lot of Americans and they weren't rude at all to my younger brother or me the entire time we stayed there. They were always very willing to give directions, order us a cab, suggest places, etc. It was a wonderful stay and I would recommend it highly. The only drawback was that the breakfast was a little pricey--if I were to do it again I would simply go get a quick breakfast somewhere else.
