Conveniant location with direct train to the airport nearby. Noisy street outside and very thin walls.

Good value for the money. Sometimes noisy. Paper thin walls. Clean sheets, clean towels, HOT shower. You are at walking distance to all atractions. Louvre, Pompidou, subway.

Comments about the hotel
Tips about Paris
Un conseil si vous allez visiter le Louvre, afin de ne pas attendre au moins 1 heure pour acheter les places, allez à la fnac des halles qui sont juste à coté de l'hôtel, vous pourrez acheter les entrées sans attendre.

This hotel is really basic but I knew it wouldn't be really fancy when I booked it. I chose it for location as I had never been to Paris before and thought 'if it's by the Louvre then it has to be pretty safe'. If they laid new carpets and painted the rooms+invested in some new curtains etc: the place would be much better; it just needs to be spuced up a bit. The guys on reception were really friendly+it was in such a great location.

In a great part of the city. Close to shops for parisian fashion and the gourmet shops for food. The location allows easy access to all the city attractions like the Louvre, the restaurants of St Germain, Notre Dame all these are walking distance. A short walk from the hotel there is a major subway station that takes you just about anywhere.
The down side is that the hotel is old, it looks dark in the rooms, it is noisy between rooms and with people using the stairs.

This is an absolutely great location for the price. Lots of stairs, rooms small but clean, and nothing fancy but the best parts of Paris are right at your door step. Staff was fluent in english and very helpful.

It all depends on what you're looking for: the location is wonderful, very close to the Louvre, Rivoli, St Germain and Notre Dame. Great metro access, plenty of restaurants and grocers. The hotel itself is very simple: bare bones, grungy downstairs but the room itself was clean. Things were falling apart a bit and the breakfast was not impressive. The walls are so thin you could hear everyone talking, but it worked really well for us. Great price for the location.

I liked staying at the hotel very much. The location is great, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I just loved the idea of serving breakfast in the room:) So in general I have a very positive feedback. The only things that I felt uncomfortable with were :old and a bit torned bedlinens and a specific smell in the room, I stayed at. However, will definitely be back to that hotel.

Typical tall, narrow Paris hotel. My room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very helpful, and the hotel is in a great location close to the Louvre and Seine. Don't spend Euros on breakfast as there's a bakery and small shop close by.
Tips about Paris
I like to walk everywhere as you can take in the buildings and atmosphere better, and there's always new things to see.

I was never told it did not have an elevator... I got my room on the 5th floor.
Tips about Paris
If you can walk Paris is the best, you´ll get to know it and enjoy it at its most. Best places for oysters, near place du concorde.

The great thing about this hotel is its location, just behind the Rue de Rivoli, near of many metro stations and the most of the wonderfull places of Paris. I have been there twice, and if you want a hotel just to sleep well, this one is ok!

Very good for downtown of Paris. Even staff is very polite. Room space is a bit bigger than in similar hotels in this area.
