Comments about the hotel
It is located in the red light district, which can be a bit scary. But I felt for the price that the room was really nice and well maintained. It is also easy to get around because the underground is so close. There were four of us that sleep comfortable in the room. I only wish that the walking space was a bit larger
I would recommend it for those wanting a quality hotel for a reasonable price.

Nice cheap hotel. Simple, rooms with no view. But ideal placement in Paris.

No elevator, this should be noted as our rooms where several floors up.

Comments about the hotel
It was basic accommodation but for a very good price and being so central in the heart of Paris how can you complain. The hotel is situated on a narrow one-way street which our taxi driver didn't realise until we were driving down it & met the one-way symbol. If you are in the same situation, tell them to drop you off at rue Saint-Honore where it becomes a one-way street & walk down to the hotel rather than circle around to drop you off in front of the hotel. It cost us an extra 10 euros.
Tips about Paris
Driving in Paris is scary. Make use of the Metro or trains. Once you get used to finding the right stations underground, they're a pretty good method of getting around Paris. The hotel is within walking distance of the Notre Dame & Louvre. Just make sure you have a reasonably detailed map of the city centre. The larger maps don't always show the tiny streets.

It´s a good hotel if you want to be in paris in a good location and without expending much money. It was like 100 euros night, it doesn´t have elevators, breakfast but you have a bed and good location.

Comments about the hotel
This hotel has just about the best location in all of Paris. It is a short walk from many major attractions including Le Louvre, Notre Dame, Le Centre Pompidou, and the vibrant Rue St Denis pedestrian zone. You can't find better if you you are in Paris to visit the city and don't mind less than luxurious digs, and I have been to Paris on very many occasions in just about every district. You'll have to climb the stairs, but the price is right at about $100 per night including breakfast.
Tips about Paris
Try buses instead of the Metro. If you know where you want to go and you can find a bus that goes there, it allows you to tour the city while going from one site to another. And you can avoid the long underground ups and downs.

Comments about the hotel
The stay was fine but I had to book for at list a twin bed or double because the size of the single is much to small.
The location is perfect and very close to Les Halles to take the RER to the airport.
The receptionist is very polite and helpful.
I will come back again.

Simple and average, nothing fancy. Met our needs and was rather ok for the price we paid. Location not ideal, but close to the metro which made it easy to get to places.

Superb location being in central Paris; i.e just behind the Louvre. A fairly quiet street at night, enjoyed the atmosphere of the street by day. If there is one aspect I would like to see to the hotel is a lift. Hauling ones luggage up two flights of stairs for the over 60s is no joke. But would recommend this hotel to anyone I know who is coming to Paris.

Comments about the hotel
The location of the hotel is definitely good--close to everything: Louvre, subway stations, etc. I was happy enough about the size and cleanness of the room. However, the day staff was very rude (one sole man). The evening staff (another sole man) was courteous, though. They probably have been working there for a long time so you will likely run into the same two guys. Just prepare for the rudeness from the day guy.

Good central location for exploring Paris. Basic hotel accommodation, no tea making facilities in room, but drinks available at reasonable cost. Friendly helpful staff. Only drawback for us was that the family room on the ground floor has no outside window. Enjoyed visit.
Tips about Paris
Notre-Dame, Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, Place de la Concorde, Grand Palais all within walking distance of hotel. Metro to Eiffel Tower then walk to Arc de Triomphe. Visit Printemps and Galeries Lafayette for shopping. Eating out expensive.

The reception & breakfast area are not very inviting. The staircase could use a 'clean-up' and paint. The rooms: the beds are fine, the room is small, dark and bathroom is very small but clean and the shower functions well. It is not a 'quiet' hotel, it is as if you can hear all conversations from your room.
Location is great!
120 Euros for a quadruple may seem cheap but for the minimum of comfort and space I still think it is expensive.

Always a great town to go to!

Comments about the hotel
The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the major metro line and the Louvre. Found it value for the money compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel does look shabby and you have to be fit to go up and down stairs with a suitcase, as there is no lift.
Staff were friendly and did speak English. Didn't find electrical outlets in my room.
Would definitely recommend as a cheap hotel in a great location.
Tips about Paris
The 'hop on hop off' buses are a great way to see Paris and get familiar with the major museums and sites.
If you want to miss the big crowds get to the sights in the early morning.
