Comments about the hotel
Friendly staff, easy to reach by metro, always keep in mind you're in montmatre which is not everyone's gusto. Don't get up too late so that your room is made!
Tips about Paris
Don't trust friendly strangers esp. if it has to do with money and metro tickets!!! Buy tickets at the office, check how much money you got back(restaurants)!
If you don't know what to do, check out one of those wonderful churches! Places to find peace in this crowded city.
And the louvre and most of the museums are for free if you're below 25 and from the EU.

Very noisy but that is because of a great location. We
enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Comments about the hotel
We stayed in a 'double privilege' room, which had a bathroom/shower. The view of the Eiffel Tower was perfect! Our only issue was the lack of a/c, but it was bearable, even in August. The staff was very helpful.

I am so glad someone recommened this hotel because if I was walking by it I would've crossed the street. Looks like a dive from the outside. It was perfect. Got a comfort room for a bit more space. 2 floors up right in front. Slept with windows open and no noise. Clean. Great shower. Didn't eat breakfast there. Fantastic value for money beside the metro station. Will stay ther when I go again and would highly recommend. Clean and safe. The area is fantastic.

Very nice staff!
Small room, no aircondition, very warm room in august, probably nice in spring and autumn, quite hard uncomfortable beds.
Expensive breakfast.
Very good location, close to Metro and nice surrounding area.
Tips about Paris
Take the short walk from the hotel to Sacre-Coeur a nice evening at sunset and you will have a very nice view over the city.

Comments about the hotel
We wanted authentic Montmartre, and we got it. The hotel has retained its idiosyncrasies, which are a joy. The lift, that can manage two people packed tightly together. In our room the wallpaper was a colourful and pictorial classic - the colour was gold, the frosted art deco glass light shade, the old bath and shower fittings that were a little temperamental, but fun nevertheless. To our minds it was what we were looking for - nostalgic, warm, individualistic, and perfectly placed.
Tips about Paris
We took out a Paris Visite Pass - 18euros each for three days. It was perfect for us; we could move from metro to bus to train to Montmartrobus seamlessly and it gave real variety. If you want to visit the obvious Montmartre sights get going early - by midday its crowded and a scramble. The Musee du Montmartre is a real gem - peaceful, interesting, cultured and a haven. If you want a meal, that is more upmarket, a last nighter, then visit Bofinger off the Bastille.

Great location - Metro in square, spent hours people watching from window! View across Paris and Eiffel Tower. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast reasonable
Tips about Paris
Visit Sacre Coeur in the evening for street entertainers, buskers, give them a couple of Euros!

We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Regyns, great location in the Montmartre village part of Paris, our favourite part with lots of interesting shops, cafes and restaurants. We had a room on the fifth floor with views of Eiffeltower and Paris, we were there on 14 July and it was great with fireworks and Eiffel lit on 'fire'. Would stay there again.
