We had a room with a nice view to the place du theatre. Jardin de Luxembourg is near as well as the St. Germain-Quarter. Buy a picnic at the open market near the Montparnasse tower an eat it in the Jardin de Lux.

Excellente situation, excellent rapport qualité/prix, chambre impeccable, personnel attentif. Un bémol : pas chambre non climatisée. Vraiment à recommander !

Excellent rapport "qualité,emplacement"/prix , à mon opinion. Sympa, sobre, propre, bien placé...je n'en demande pas plus. Ptit dej' un peu cher, mais c'est tout.

I stay at this hotel when I visit Paris because of its handy location and helpful English-speaking desk clerks. The hotel has been steadily renovated since 1976 when I first stayed there.

The RER and RATP systems are still the best way to get around Paris speedily. The gridlock on the streets at rush hour is as bad as anything I've experienced in California.

If you love the romance of the Left Bank in Paris, this hotel is perfectly situated. Not at all posh, but very nice staff.

Helpful staff and nice room. This hotel is a perfect location with the Jardins du Luxembourg very close by and a lovely cafe opposite in the Place de l'Odeon.
Only negative is easily disturbed by noise in corridors or other rooms.

Make the most of the weather if it's nice and ahead to the Eiffel tower or Montmartre. Otherwise you have a plenty of choice for museums to visit. Don't miss Notre Dame cathedral or the Musee Rodin!

The breakfast is well worth the extra monies. Nothing compares to it in the neighborhood for cost or value. My sisters and I discovered it late and then used it daily. The hotel was perfect for our needs and very well situated for metro and for walking to places we wanted to visit. Of course, Paris has noise and we got used to the night noise and the exhaustion from sightseeing also helped. But even the more expensive hotels and residences in the neighborhood had the same. We were very content.

We focused on the art museums and were overwhelmed with the beauty of the collections. We also went out to Monet's home in Giverny and then understood and experienced deeper his art found in Paris! We also heard an organ concert at Saint Sulpice at 4:00 on Sunday. This is the grandest organ in Europe. It took out breath away!

It's a fine hotel with a great adress in Paris, however our room had a bathroom, where the door couldn't close, which was a shame.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our quad room was spacious and clean. We arrived at 10:30 AM and much to our joy, the desk clerk said our room was ready and we were welcome to go in now--a Godsend for four weary travelers. Great location--easy walk to Luxemburg Gardens, subway stations, restaurants, and Notre Dame. Nice continental breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.

Paris is a world class city with so much history and beauty. We tried to see both its star attractions and some of it's smaller gems. There is so much to see with so little time, so there is always a reason to need to return again and again.
