This hotel was in a great location between the Opera and the Louvre. Metro was nearby. It was very nice to have air conditioning when it was so hot!

Paris is a bit on the expensive side - everyone said Italy was more - but Paris was the expensive city. Plan at least two hours for any meal!

Lovely little hotel just a short walk from St Lazare train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful - and spoke good English. The only note of caution is that visitors over 6 feet tall might find the top floor ceiling a little low!

Tips about Paris
Get a street map and walk, walk, walk. Spend time sitting out in the cafes and bars absorbing the atmosphere. Wander through the Tuilleries, climb the Eiffel tower.

In a very nice area which is quiet, and in a good walking distance to nice resturants and some of paris's main sites. Even though the hotel was being redecorated, it was done with very little inconvenience to us an our stay.

Great location. The rooms were pretty small - but that's the trade off for the price you want to pay in the location you want to be. Rooms very clean and well mantained. Staff not effusively helpful or friendly - but get the job done.

It is very well-located, tucked into a quiet corner amidst the bustle of the city and within walking distance of many touristic gems. The rooms are cosy and pleasant, though a little cramped for two people. Overall I would definitely recommend it!

The staff is english-speaking and was very helpful for attractions and dining information. It is good value for money if you get a discount or offer.

The hotel Louvre Marsollier Opéra is very close to major tourist attractions plus shopping. Since the hotel is not on the main streets the price is a little bit lower then other hotels. But the hotel is within working distance to Louvre and good dining areas.

Hotel was very comfortable (we had the two bedrooom Oscar Wilde suite which was lovely) and very nicely located. It worked very well as a base as there are limited facilities in the hotel - breakfast is better taken in one of the numerous cafe's nearby.

Christmas is a great time to visit as it is not too busy but still has great atmosphere.

We have stayed at the Hotel three time, and the last time, we brought friends with us. We think it is a great place to stay, convenient, comfortable, and the staff makes it particularly pleasant. We love the convenience of the in-house breakfast. Sandi Forbus

Tips about Paris
Paris is such a great city...much to offer. We really like going to the Monoprix because there is a grocery in the basement with wonderful fruit, cheese, yogurt, and so on. Eating out is great, but sometimes it is nice to bring something lite back to your room.
