This is my third time staying here over the past 4 years. Yes, the hotel is showing a little wear and tear (mostly on the facade), but my experience has always been excellent here. It is a solid 3+ star. Great location for me. Nothing fancy, but clean and reliable. Very pleasant personnel at front desk. Helpful with information when asked. Nick lobby and breakfast area (though I've not had breakfast there). Will stay here again!

Ask for a Paris Visite card for the metro/RER/bus (3 days etc.).
You need a comfortable pair of shoes as walking is part of the Paris experience.

Excellent Location in the Latin Quarter - Our room looked over the church rooftop - very Parisian!! Very friendly and helpful staff. Only minor issue was the breakfast was very basic - still got enough to eat though!

Un hôtel plein de charme , en plein coeur de Paris, décoré avec goût,personnel très discret, notre chambre avait une vue superbe sur Paris et bien que donnant sur la rue nous avons bien dormi. Il y règne une atmosphère cosy comme nous les aimons . Si vous voulez passer un séjour à Paris tout en vous sentant comme chez vous après une longue journée de découvertes, c'est là qu'il faut séjourner.

Very warm and friendly staff. Clean always and helpful employees. The rooms be prepared are extremely small, and not enough storage room for more than one person for me especially as I am tall but enough for me as Paris has so much to do you shouldn't be in your room much. Breakfast area cozy and clean and served enough variety for you to eat to start your day...no pool or exercise room which is hard for me as I workout every day but that is easily compensated with walking.

It is in a great location for all the main attractions. I thought the location felt safe and had the charm that is uniquely Paris. Wonderful places to eat at anyone's budget and reasonably accessible on foot or by taxi. Consider it a hotel to stay at in a prestigious part of town known for it's poet's and intellects that gather to converse in the local cafes.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The location is fantastic - very close to numerous restaurants, shops, the Metro and sites, including Notre Dame. You can't ask for a better location. The accomodations were also fantastic - we stayed in room 501 which was very comfortable and clean and had a fantastic view of St Severin, and the bathroom had all of the amenities that we could ask for, including a good-sized bath and shower. We would definitely stay there again the next time we are in Paris!

This is a great hotel for a first trip to Paris. The location is ideal. Our room was large and quiet and the three of us were very comfortable for 6 days. Large marble bath and endless hot water and two closets. The staff spoke english and were eager to help us.

This hotel is surrounded by winding pedestrian streets full of ethnic restuarants and take-out places. There was also a little grocery store. Notre Dame, Seine, and metro one block away. San Germaine area close.

Il s'agit d'un hôtel agréable, très bien placé, propre, silencieux malgré sa situation. L'accueil est excellent et les chambres, pour Paris, ont une dimension suffisante. La salle du petit-déjeuner est un peu sous-dimensionnée. Nous y avons séjourné 2 fois et y retournerons sans problème.

Get suggestions from the hotel staff regarding restaurants in the area. Most of the restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel are overpriced and the food is not what you would expect.

I would definitely stay here again. Excellent location, very nice and helpful staff,and a small, but immaculate room/bathroom. The windows are amazingly sound-proof from the news on rue St. Jacques.

The hotel is wonderful. The staff is fantastic. It's location is convenient to everything...fun neighborhood. We will definitely return. We had to reschedule our last trip and they were very gracious. Great "crepes" stand right outside hotel!

The accomodations are lovely and comfortable.

Very nice staff, ready to help you in any way. (directions to hospitals , they agreed to keep my luggage until 17.00 (check out was at 17.00). Very cozy room ,and in spite of the freezing temperatures very warm. Amazing location , you can walk to many places Le Marais ; Hotel de Ville , Notre Dame , Ile de Saint Louis , St Germain is just behind St Michel one street away... I will certainly return.

Chambres agréables et propres, bien que petites. L'hôtel est très calme (ma chambre donnait sur l'arrière) et bien situé, à deux pas du quartier latin.
