We loved staying here. This was our second hotel on our trip. The room was very comfortable, large for Paris, and very convenient. I would recommend bringing earplugs for the street noise if you're staying on a weekend. It wasn't terrible, but it was noticeable. We only needed them for Saturday night.

GREAT romantic hotel! Close to the METRO and restaurants. Set 1 street back from the main street so it is fairly quiet at night yet within walking distance to everything. Will stay here again next time. Rooms are smaller than in N.America but that is the norm for Europe. The price was a steal at 100 euros/night.

Get a METRO pass and visit the sites EARLY to avoid lineups...

During our stay there were some works going on in this house, for this reason they reduced the price about € 25.- daily but they did not tell us before our arrival so we were very surprised to experience this.

Book tickets for all sights 2 weeks in advance on tourist office website to Avoid the ticket queues. Long toilet queues in museums.

The room was clean and the air conditioning worked which was a must in June! There was decorating going on at the time of our visit so it looked a little messy but other than that I would definitely go again. Paris is extremely expensive so although this was hotel seemed expensive it was relative to the area. The staff were helpful although one of the guys on reception could do with learning to look less fed up at being there!

Tips about Paris
Definitely take a boat trip - you can see so much without walking your feet off. If you're on a budget, check out the price of drinks in a bar before you order. I paid 19 euros for two gin and tonics...

Chambre au 6ème donnant sur cour vraiment très calme, au coeur du Marais, très facile avec un personnel très accueillant.

Great location, attentive staff (allowed me to check in early and kept a bag of laundry I forgot for a month until my return to Paris). A bit pricey.

Tips about Paris
Bofinger (next door) has great (though not cheap)seafood platters. For most other meals I was happy with cheese, cold cuts, vegetables and fruits from the various shops on the left side of rue Saint-Antoine going towards metro St. Paul.
